The Vase with Rosette, Antique Mother of Pearl, Gold and Lustre is shaped and decorated by hand by Ceramiche Sofia in Caltagirone. The ovoid body, wide at the shoulder and narrower toward the foot, has an antiqued ivory surface; all around, small rosettes are applied in relief, round flowers with an amber-colored center button, alternating with gold and amber-colored spheres. The short neck is finished in lustre, gold on the rim and copper below.

Turning, Drying, First firing, Enamelling, Decoration and Aging .
