The Testa di Moro (Sicilian Moor's Head) "Zahira" with Flowers, Antique Mother of Pearl, Gold and Lustres is the female Zahira in the richest finish: a mother-of-pearl ground, details in pure gold and ceramic lustres. She has closed eyes, red lips and a veil draped over her forehead; around the rim runs a crown of flowers shaped and applied by hand, each with a gold or orange center. Curl-shaped earrings, beads and pendants in gold and orange complete the decoration, and the face rests on a chalice-shaped foot.
