This Caltagirone Ceramic Crown Valet Tray, Antique Mother of Pearl, Gold and Lustre is shaped and decorated by hand: a low bowl in the shape of a crown, Ø 27 cm (10¾", the medium size), with a rim of shaped points, volutes and curls and small shells in relief with coral red beads. Round gold studs stand out on the body and the base is marked by coral red and gold bands; the ivory ground is antiqued with a brown patina that brings out the reliefs. It is a decorative object and at the same time a valet tray for keys, jewelry and small items.
