This Caltagirone Salt Pig with Side Opening, Mono Blue Art Series, shaped and decorated by hand, has a rounded body on a foot, a large round opening on the side edged in blue and a pointed knob on top. On the ivory ground there are blue rings on the shoulder, a band of blue volutes on the lower part and a blue lattice above the foot, between thin blue lines. It measures 18×26 cm (7×10¼").

Turning, Drying, First firing, Enamelling, Decoration and Aging .
